What does a custom painting cost?
My commission prices vary depending on the size and complexity of the artwork. You can find my current pricing below.
To reserve your commission, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining 50% is due once your painting is complete and ready to ship.
Prices for Commission:
- 8x10 inches ($400 + $10 Shipping)
- 11x14 inches ($550 + $10 Shipping)
- 16x20 inches ($1000 + $10 US Shipping)
- 18x24 inches ($1500 + $20 US Shipping)
- 24x36 inches ($3100 + $50 US Shipping)
- 30x40 inches ($4200 + $100 US Shipping)
- 24x48 inches ($4200 + $100 US Shipping)
What does the process look like?
1. Share your idea
Fill out the commission form below, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can—usually within 3 business days.
2. Reserve your spot
If we're a good fit, I'll send you an invoice for the 50% deposit to secure your commission.
3. Sketch approval
Once your deposit has been received, I'll create a sketch based on your vision. You'll have the opportunity to request changes before I begin painting.
4. Painting your artwork
After you've approved the sketch, I'll start painting your piece. I'll keep you updated along the way and send photos once it's finished for your final approval.
5. Shipping your painting
After the remaining balance has been paid, any final adjustments have been made, and the painting has fully dried (typically about two weeks), I'll carefully package your artwork, insure it, and ship it from my home studio on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi.
How long does it take?
Most commissions are completed within about one month, although smaller paintings may be finished sooner.
